Automotive Smart Display Controllers

For multi-display cockpit applications

Built on Socionext’s 2D SEERIS™ Pixel Engine, these smart display controllers enable highly optimized and cost-effective solutions for complex multi-display cockpit applications. They reduce the overall BOM and ensure the realization of future proof architectures. All graphics processing is performed in a line-buffer based scheme, combined with a versatile and flexible sprite engine.

The fail-safe operation and error-free and high-class display of safety-critical content is ensured through a variety of special safety features like signature units, local dimming and warping, thus supporting functional safety with ISO 26262.

An optional APIX® video link is integrated with up to 12 Gbps link speed. Camera connectivity is enabled over Ethernet with touch controller support through back channel.
