Socionext Selects Optimal+ for Advanced Manufacturing Data Analysis and Yield Improvement
Yokohama, Japan and Holon, Israel, April 22, 2015 --- Socionext Inc. (Socionext) and Optimal Plus Ltd. (Optimal+), an Israeli company, today announced that Socionext, the leading Japanese fabless company for System LSI solutions formed by the consolidation of the LSI businesses of Fujitsu Limited and Panasonic Corporation, has selected Optimal+ to provide solutions to improve the efficiency and yield of its global manufacturing operations. The Semiconductor Operations Platform from Optimal+ will be used to enhance Socionext’s manufacturing operations by driving measurable improvements in yield and quality through early error detection and correction, test operation loss reduction and more efficient yield management methods. These improvements will enable Socionext to provide a steady supply of high quality devices to their consumer and industrial customers.
