Socionext Employees Receive IEC 1906 Awards
Langen/Germany, 25. October, 2019 --- Employees of Socionext Inc. received IEC 1906 Awards, which are presented annually to individuals who made significant contributions to the activities of IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission).
Suehiro Kawanishi (Expert, Marketing Division)
Kawanishi was presented the awarded in recognition of his contribution to the development of the IEC 63033 series for the around view drive monitoring system for cars. Also, he has been leading liaison initiatives with related car industries and SDOs (Standard Development Organizations). The IEC 63033 series was one of important projects to establish the new TA 17 (Multimedia systems and equipment for cars) in IEC TC 100.
Hideya Matsuyama (Expert, Quality Assurance Division)
Matsuyama was presented the award in recognition of his contribution and dedication to especially IEC TC 47 WG 5, on wafer level reliability of semiconductor devices, for almost twenty years. He has been leading several projects for studies including MOSFET degradation, neutron-induced soft error and reliability of Copper interconnects.
